This archive is a research and publishing project about one person. It is improved by correction, and it is incomplete by design until better material reaches it.
What to get in touch about
- Historical corrections. If a date, name, place or claim on this site is wrong, say so — ideally with the source that shows it. Corrections supported by a source will be acted on.
- Archival contributions. Photographs, documents, published material or family records relating to Sukhdev Thapar, the Naujawan Bharat Sabha, the HSRA or the Lahore Conspiracy Case.
- Permissions and provenance. If you hold rights in an image reproduced here, or can establish the provenance of one, please make contact.
- Website enquiries. Accessibility problems, broken links, or anything on the site that does not work as it should.
How material is treated
Nothing contributed is published without attribution being settled first, and nothing is published that cannot be described honestly. If a photograph’s date or subject cannot be established, it will be captioned as unestablished rather than given a caption that sounds authoritative.
Students and teachers
This site is written to be usable for school and university work. Every page states the standard of evidence behind its claims, and the archive page sets out the method and the further reading. If something is unclear for classroom use, that is worth reporting too.
A standing request
Somewhere there is material about Sukhdev Thapar that no one has published.
